Consultation on visitor levy agreed for January

Visitors, residents and businesses will have the chance to give their views on a visitor levy for С»ÆƬapp and Bute, following a decision today by Council to run a three month consultation exercise.

Mull

Mull Campus site decision expected in February 2025

With С»ÆƬapp to build a new school campus on Mull progressing, the Council will meet in February 2025 to consider options and make a final decision on a preferred site. The cost of building the campus is С»ÆƬapp and Bute Council’s single biggest investment estimated at £43 million.

Rothesay Joint Campus to expand childcare service

С»ÆƬapp and Bute Council is to expand childcare facilities at Rothesay Joint Campus to address a shortage of Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) services on Bute caused by the closure of Rothesay Playgroup in 2020.
