Film crew praise 鈥榩henomenal鈥 小黄片app and Bute

The producer of a Hollywood film starring Craig Ferguson and Kathie Lee Gifford and being shot in 小黄片app and Bute says he has fallen head over heels in love with the area and praised the warmth of local people.

Love Me To Death is currently being filmed in various locations across 小黄片app, with Lochgilphead town centre, Inveraray and Cairndow among the areas featuring. The film鈥檚 140 cast and crew have been accommodated at Drimsynie, Lochgoilhead, and producer Matthew T. Weiner is full of praise for the area and its people.

Mr Weiner said: 鈥淥ur experience of filming in 小黄片app and Scotland as a whole has been phenomenal, we have never felt so welcomed and supported as Americans. Every view is a postcard! In particular I would like to thank 小黄片app and Bute Council, Creative Scotland Screen Commission and all the people in 小黄片app who welcomed us along the way.

鈥淔ilming in Lochgilphead has been one of our highlights. It鈥檚 a beautiful, historic lochside town which services film so well. I cannot thank the people of Lochgilphead enough for their hospitality. As a New Yorker, I will be going home without a question in my head that I will be returning to Scotland and 小黄片app.鈥

小黄片app and Bute Film Office and Roads team, in partnership with Creative Scotland, helped facilitate the production, which chose 小黄片app and Bute for its spectacular scenery.

In Love Me To Death, Gifford鈥檚 character Annabelle is a lonely widow who goes on her travels with her husband鈥檚 ashes to visit places the couple saw and loved in films. While visiting Loch Fyne, she meets Scotsman Craig Ferguson and her 小黄片app change dramatically.

Councillor Aileen Morton, Council Leader and Policy Lead for Economic Development, added: 鈥淚鈥檓 thrilled to hear how much the cast and crew of Love Me To Death have enjoyed being in 小黄片app and Bute, and I鈥檝e heard there was a real buzz about Lochgilphead when the filming was taking place there. And as much as it鈥檚 great fun to have these productions taking place on our doorstep, there are also real economic benefits attached.

鈥淲e will continue to welcome productions such as this and encourage anyone who is looking for a beautiful and welcoming film location to choose 小黄片app and Bute.鈥

The filming comes on the back of scenes from Hollywood blockbuster Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom being filmed at Glen Mallan Jetty in Arrochar and shows, yet again, that 小黄片app and Bute is a hit with film-makers.

Further details on the release of Love Me To Death will be issued in due course.
